With 25 years of experience, Ms. Beverly B. Kothe is a highly-respected
marketing executive known for her skills in brand positioning and
product concept development. Utilizing her talents in marketing
communications, market trend analysis and assessment, and marketing
staff development, Ms. Kothe’s industry experience includes clients in
consumer products, financial products and services, retail, engineered
products, professional services, construction, and real estate
development. It is a special treat to observe her in action with focus
groups, as she is equally adept facilitating a panel of upper income
consumers as she is with construction subcontractors who work under
buildings.
Before establishing her own marketing firm in Charlotte, North Carolina in 1979, Ms. Kothe worked in research management with Shawmut Bank in Boston; Crown Zellerbach Corporation in San Francisco, and the consumer research arm
of the Charlotte Observer.
In
1986, Ms. Kothe and Norelli first worked together when Ms. Kothe
directed a nationwide customer telephone survey for a struggling public
company where Norelli was interim CEO where deteriorating product
and service quality were critical issues. This company was successfully
turned around (without Chapter 11) with the help of new private equity
investment. Most recently, Ms. Kothe collaborated with Norelli when she
conducted a series of focus groups with architects across the United
States and provided market input for a feasibility study for one of
Norelli’s European clients. Currently, Ms. Kothe is in the midst of
conducting a new product concept study for another Norelli client, a
U.S. industrial products manufacturing and sales company.
Ms. Kothe is a member of the American Marketing Association and has
served as President of the Charlotte Chapter. A past board member of
Community Link, Ms. Kothe currently serves on the Boards of Directors
for Goodwill Industries of Southern Piedmont and Women Executives.
She holds a B.A. in Economics from Vanderbilt University.
